Common Pass for Metro and RTC

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has introduced new digital services to make public transport more convenient for passengers in Greater Hyderabad and the Core Urban Region (CURE). In partnership with Hyderabad Metro Rail, the corporation has launched daily and monthly common passes that can be used on eligible TGSRTC city buses operating within the ORR, excluding Pushpak services, as well as Hyderabad Metro trains. The daily common pass is priced at ₹400, while the monthly pass costs ₹8,500. A refundable card fee of ₹100 will be collected at the time of the first purchase.

TGSRTC has also launched the ‘MeeTicket’ mobile app to enable paperless ticketing on city buses. Passengers can select their boarding point, destination and ticket type on the app and make digital payments to receive a dynamic QR-based ticket. The app also offers a digital weekly bus pass priced at ₹600, allowing unlimited travel on buses for seven days. Daily and monthly bus passes will also be available through the app, eliminating the need to visit physical pass centres.
