Cockroach Janta Party has become a viral sensation across India, trending heavily on social media platforms. The Instagram page created under this satirical political movement has already crossed 8.8 million followers, surpassing the BJP’s official page which stands at 8.7 million followers, creating a shocking online moment. Reports also suggest that it is rapidly closing in on the Congress party’s 13.3 million followers, raising discussions about its growing digital influence.
The movement is described as a satirical political initiative inspired by remarks made by Justice Suryakant in a Supreme Court context. The page, created by a young student Abhijit Dipke, shares AI-generated satirical content targeting political and social systems. Its rapid growth within just five days has sparked nationwide debate, while its humorous eligibility rules—calling for “lazy, unemployed, system-criticizing members”—have made it even more viral.
