The Tamil Nadu government has announced a new initiative offering a reward of ₹1 lakh for reporting bribery complaints involving as little as ₹1,000. This sensational decision taken by CM Vijay has now become a major topic of discussion across the country. Under this scheme, citizens who provide evidence of bribery demands in any government department will be rewarded with ₹1 lakh by the government.

For this purpose, a dedicated 24x7 toll-free helpline number 1800 425 1555 has also been launched. Officials stated that the initiative is aimed at completely eliminating corruption from government offices by involving the public as active participants. The decision has sparked widespread debate nationwide.
