On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy emphasized that in an era shaped by Artificial Intelligence and rapid global transformation, young people must acquire practical skills alongside formal education. He said that continuous learning and skill development are essential not only for building successful careers but also for contributing to society and the nation's overall progress.
The Chief Minister noted that the State Government has undertaken several initiatives to strengthen skill development, including upgrading ATCs and polytechnic colleges into modern technology centers and establishing the Young India Skills University. He observed that the lack of industry-relevant skills remains a major cause of unemployment and encouraged youth to never stop learning, improve their abilities consistently, and play an active role in building a stronger and more prosperous society.
