

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy chaired a high-level review meeting on the Tourism Department at the MCRHRD Bodhi Pavilion, directing officials to accelerate tourism infrastructure development across Telangana. The meeting was attended by CM Advisor Ramakrishna Rao, Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, CMO Principal Secretary Sheshadri, Principal Secretary Sridhar, Tourism Secretary Vani Prasad, and Tourism Corporation Managing Director Gauthami. The Chief Minister instructed officials to further develop Taramati Baradari as a major tourist destination, transform Durgam Cheruvu into a full-fledged tourism hub, modernize Manjeera and Dilkusha Guest Houses, and develop Vikarabad under the Tourism Hub Development Scheme.
Revanth Reddy also called for the development of the Veerabhadra Swamy Temple in Vikarabad on the lines of Yadadri by constituting a dedicated temple committee. He directed officials to promote eco-tourism by utilizing forest lands under the CURE initiative, establish urban eco parks similar to Gurranguda Eco Park, and develop forest areas in Future City to international standards. The Chief Minister further instructed officials to restore the historic Puranapul heritage bridges as tourist attractions, explore traffic diversion to enhance visitor experience, and begin preparations for the Global Investment Summit scheduled for December by forming inter-departmental coordination committees.
