

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy conducted a high-level review meeting on municipal administration and urban development projects at the MCR HRD Institute's Bodhi Pavilion. The meeting was attended by Municipal Administration Secretary Sridevi, Chief Minister's Secretary Manik Raj, GHMC Commissioner Karnan, CMC Commissioner G. Srujana, MMC Commissioner T. Vinay Krishna Reddy, HYDRAA Commissioner Ranganath, MRDCL Managing Director Narasimha Reddy, and Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board Managing Director Ashok Reddy. The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of development works in the GHMC, Malkajgiri, and Cyberabad Commissionerates.
During the review, Revanth Reddy directed officials not to invite tenders before completing land acquisition, stressing the need for proper planning before project execution. He said a special officer has already been appointed for land acquisition and instructed officials from all concerned departments to hold coordination meetings to expedite approvals for projects across the three commissionerates. The Chief Minister also directed HMDA to accelerate the construction of the proposed Dr. Manmohan Singh statue and junction development in Cyberabad. Additionally, he reviewed the architectural designs of the National Institute of Urban Management (NIUM) building and the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation office, offering several suggestions for their improvement.
