CM Revanth Reddy Reviews 'SIR' Programme

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy reviewed the progress of the Congress party's 'SAR' programme based on a report submitted by the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief. The Chief Minister reportedly expressed serious concern over the performance of party in-charges in constituencies where the programme was not being implemented effectively. According to the report, the in-charges in Alampur, Armur, Asifabad and Bahadurpura constituencies were found to have performed poorly, prompting the Chief Minister to seek greater accountability.

The review indicated that the programme's implementation was satisfactory in 52 Assembly constituencies, while the performance in 42 constituencies was considered average. The report also identified 21 constituencies where party leaders need to intensify organisational activities and improve outreach. The Chief Minister is said to have directed party leaders to strengthen grassroots engagement and ensure the effective implementation of the programme across all constituencies.
