Senior officials, including the CMO Secretary Manik Raj, Municipal Administration Commissioner Dr. T.K. Sridevi, and Director of Town and Country Planning Devender Reddy, attended the meeting.
The Chief Minister directed the development of Outer Ring Roads for Khammam, Warangal, and Karimnagar municipal corporations. He emphasized the need for modern sewage treatment plants, scientifically designed road networks aligned with upcoming airports, and advanced underground drainage systems. He also stressed the promotion of electric vehicles to reduce costs and the expansion of solar energy generation across municipalities.
He further instructed officials to implement smart infrastructure, waste management plants, radial road networks, and multi-utility towers in urban areas. Planning should be designed for the next 25 years, integrating regional development units, including Singareni-area municipalities. Special focus was also placed on temple and tourism corridors and coordinated urban expansion strategies.
