

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met Godrej Industries Group President (Corporate Affairs) Rakesh Swamy and Godrej Agrovet Oil Palm Business CEO Saugato Niyogi at MCR HRD Bodhi Pavilion. During the meeting, the company presented its roadmap for expanding oil palm cultivation and establishing Telangana’s first private integrated oil palm complex in Khammam district with an investment of ₹300 crore.
The project is expected to create employment for more than 700 people and will include an oil palm processing unit, nursery, R&D centre, and seed garden. Company representatives requested additional land for the seed garden and expansion of the approach road to the processing mill. The Chief Minister directed TGIIC officials to take up the road expansion works.
