

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy hoisted the national flag at Golconda Fort on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day and addressed the people of Telangana. He said the government had laid strong foundations for the reconstruction of the state during the past 32 months and credited the people and government employees for their contribution to its achievements. He said Telangana Rising-2047 is the government’s broader vision to take the state to a higher level through welfare, economic growth and development.
The Chief Minister highlighted several initiatives, including farmer welfare, irrigation projects, ration cards, Indiramma houses, social security pensions, minimum wage revision, gig-worker welfare, education reforms, government recruitment and expansion of public healthcare. He said more than 72,000 government appointments had been completed and several new medical and nursing institutions were being established. He also highlighted Telangana’s growing IT sector, investments, Global Capability Centres, data centres, AI infrastructure and the proposed Future City and Musi rejuvenation projects. Revanth Reddy said the government would continue working with the support of the people to make Telangana a model state.
