

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that modernization and urbanization will bring new challenges in the future. He directed officials to strengthen infrastructure in line with the growing urban population. Speaking at a Parliamentary Standing Committee meeting held at the Secretariat, he discussed housing and urban development issues with senior officials including the committee chairman and Chief Secretary.
He said plans are underway to develop Hyderabad as a signal-free city with a three-level traffic system and a multi-modal transport network. The government is also focusing on multi-level parking solutions. He explained the classification of development zones into CUR, PURE, and RARE areas under the Telangana Rising 2047 master plan, aimed at balanced regional development.
