

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has urged people to remain alert amid severe heatwave conditions and rising temperatures across the state. Following weather department warnings, the Chief Minister directed officials in North Telangana districts to take all necessary precautions and ensure the availability of ORS packets, drinking water and uninterrupted power supply.
The CM also instructed health officials from primary health centres to district hospitals to stay prepared to treat sunstroke cases immediately. He advised people to avoid afternoon travel as much as possible and ordered the setting up of cooling shelters in urban areas. Revanth Reddy directed Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao to continuously monitor the situation and guide district collectors accordingly.
