

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has invited the University of Oxford to explore large-scale education and research programmes in Telangana. As part of the Telangana Rising delegation, the Chief Minister visited the 900-year-old university in Oxford on Friday and held discussions on potential partnerships to provide global-standard education and research opportunities to the state’s youth.
Revanth Reddy met Professor Maya Tudor of the Blavatnik School of Government and Professor Faisal Devji of Balliol College. He presented the Telangana Rising vision and explained the government’s plans to develop Hyderabad into a global education hub. The Chief Minister invited Oxford to bring its executive education programmes and research expertise to Hyderabad and establish a centre that could benefit students and working professionals. Oxford representatives responded positively and expressed interest in collaborating with Telangana in education, research and skill development. They were also invited to send a delegation to the Telangana Rising Global Summit in Hyderabad from December 7 to 9.
