CM Revanth Reddy, Governor Pay Tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Bapu Ghat

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Bapu Ghat in Langer Houz, Hyderabad. They participated in an all-faith prayer meeting and later jointly inaugurated a digital museum established at Bapu Ghat. The memorial is located at the confluence of the Musi and Esi rivers, where Gandhi’s ashes were immersed in 1948.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and Mohammed Azharuddin, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, government advisers, whips, elected representatives, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju, DGP C.V. Anand and senior officials attended the event. A 76-foot-long collage featuring more than 400 photographs of Mahatma Gandhi has also been displayed at the prayer hall.
