Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy held a review meeting with Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and senior officials on Tuesday regarding registrations of properties included in the 22-A prohibited lands list. The Chief Minister said the government is committed to protecting the property rights of citizens and ensuring that genuine private landowners do not face unnecessary hurdles in registration.
Revanth Reddy directed Revenue officials to examine properties included in the 22-A list within two days if their owners have already obtained an online registration slot. If the property is found to be private land, officials have been instructed to proceed with the registration immediately. District Collectors have also been asked to thoroughly examine 22-A lands, prepare accurate lists without errors and complete the process quickly to find a permanent solution. The Chief Minister advised people not to approach brokers or middlemen and not to believe rumours regarding 22-A lands.
