

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of veteran farmer leader and Communist leader Saramapalli Mallareddy. He recalled Mallareddy’s sustained efforts and leadership in several movements for farmers’ rights and the resolution of agricultural issues. His contributions as a farmers’ organisation leader and vice-president of the All India Kisan Sabha were described as memorable.
The Chief Minister said Mallareddy dedicated his life to the welfare of farmers and consistently worked on issues including land rights, irrigation, agricultural loans and seeds. Revanth Reddy prayed for the departed leader’s soul to rest in peace and conveyed his deepest condolences to Mallareddy’s family members and followers.
