

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has expressed profound grief over reports that tourists from the Telugu states were among those who lost their lives in a boat accident near Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam. On receiving the information, the Chief Minister immediately alerted senior officials and instructed them to ascertain the facts surrounding the incident and monitor the ongoing rescue and relief operations.
The Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary to coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Vietnam to ensure all necessary assistance is extended to the victims and their families. He also instructed officials to obtain complete information about the Telugu tourists involved in the accident and ensure that those injured receive the best possible medical treatment. Revanth Reddy assured that the Telangana government would extend full support to the affected families.
