

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep sorrow over the tragic accident involving a Kashi pilgrimage tourist bus from Nellore district near Aurangabad in Bihar. The Chief Minister said it was extremely painful that three pilgrims lost their lives in the mishap and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He immediately spoke with officials and reviewed the situation, seeking details about the medical assistance being provided to the injured passengers.
According to officials, the bus carrying 46 pilgrims from Nellore district to Kashi collided with another vehicle near Aurangabad, resulting in the deaths of three passengers on the spot while 15 others sustained injuries. The Chief Minister directed officials to coordinate with the Bihar government and ensure all possible assistance reaches the victims. He also instructed authorities to make arrangements for the safe return of the pilgrims to their hometowns. Severely injured passengers have been shifted to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital in Gaya, where they are currently undergoing treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.
