

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is on a visit to Delhi, held a special meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders met at the Prime Minister’s official residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. Several key issues concerning Andhra Pradesh were discussed during the meeting. Chandrababu is learnt to have requested the Centre to provide funds for the upcoming Godavari Pushkarams.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister also reportedly urged Prime Minister Modi to take up the interlinking of southern rivers. Earlier, Chandrababu met Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and C.R. Patil and sought greater central support for the state’s development. The meetings focused on key infrastructure and development-related issues concerning Andhra Pradesh.
