

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan jointly launched the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar Ajivika Mission (VBG Ram Ji) at Mukkavaripalle in Railway Kodur constituency of Tirupati district. During the event, they distributed VBG Ram Ji Job Cards to beneficiaries and unveiled the scheme booklet, Compendium of Articles, and the official mission portal. Union Ministers Pemmasani Chandrasekhar and Kamlesh Paswan, State Ministers Satya Kumar Yadav and Anagani Satya Prasad, MLA Sridhar, and senior officials attended the programme.
Addressing the gathering, Chandrababu Naidu said the Railway Kodur constituency had once again become the launchpad for a landmark national programme, recalling that MGNREGA was also introduced from Rayalaseema. He stated that the VBG Ram Ji scheme would be implemented nationwide, with ₹7,700 crore from the Centre and ₹4,000 crore from the State, creating a combined investment of ₹11,700 crore for rural development.
The Chief Minister said the scheme would provide 125 days of employment while enabling the creation of rural infrastructure such as roads, drains, canals, and community assets. He added that geo-tagging and biometric technology would ensure complete transparency in implementation. Chandrababu also announced plans to bring water from the Galeru-Nagari project to Kodur and improve groundwater resources through the Jaladhara initiative, describing the programme as a responsibility toward rural transformation.
