Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the new approach of presenting best practices during collectors’ conferences is encouraging district collectors to think innovatively. Speaking at the seventh district collectors’ conference held in Amaravati, he reviewed several unique initiatives implemented by different districts. Presentations included special grievance programs for persons with disabilities, village-level healthcare initiatives, women’s participation in cocoa-based chocolate production, and township development through land pooling.
The Chief Minister announced that nine best practices identified during the meetings would be implemented across the state. He also assigned the responsibility of monitoring these initiatives to the respective district collectors as mentors. Chandrababu said innovative ideas help deliver better public services at lower costs and create greater awareness among people. He added that the government aims to resolve disputes faster and ensure public welfare through effective governance practices.
