

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has expressed profound grief over the deaths of two residents of the state in the tourist boat accident in Vietnam. According to official information, 33 people from Andhra Pradesh had travelled to Vietnam, of whom 19 were on board the boat involved in the accident. While two people lost their lives, the remaining passengers were rescued. One survivor is reported to be in critical condition and is undergoing medical treatment. The Chief Minister described the incident as deeply unfortunate and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families.
Reviewing the situation with senior officials, Chandrababu Naidu directed them to extend every possible assistance to the victims and their families. He instructed officials to make arrangements for the safe return of the survivors to Andhra Pradesh and to stay in constant coordination with the Indian Embassy in Vietnam and the Vietnamese authorities. He also asked AP Bhavan officials in New Delhi to ensure all necessary support is provided and to remain in close touch with the affected families during this difficult time.
