

N. Chandrababu Naidu is closely monitoring the search and rescue operation for fishermen who went missing after a boat capsized in the sea. According to IG Gopinath Jetti, one fisherman, Karri Chinna, managed to survive by swimming and was rescued with the help of a commercial ship, while efforts are ongoing to locate and safely bring back the remaining fishermen. Two naval helicopters, Coast Guard ships, and marine police teams have been deployed for the operation.
The Chief Minister directed officials to intensify search efforts in the Gangavaram coastal region and extend aerial surveillance up to 12 nautical miles from the shore. He instructed authorities to keep him regularly updated and to ensure support for the affected families. On the occasion of the death anniversary of Jagjivan Ram, the Chief Minister paid tribute, describing him as a visionary leader who dedicated his life to social justice and empowerment of marginalized communities.
