CJP Demands Gyanesh Kumar’s Resignation

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, giving him 48 hours to step down. The organisation warned that it would launch a nationwide agitation if he failed to resign within the deadline. The demand comes amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the Election Commission and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

The CJP has also demanded that all upcoming elections be put on hold until the issues surrounding the Election Commission are addressed. It further called for the SIR process to be rolled back to the January 2025 status. The organisation has announced that it will intensify its protest if its demands are not met.
