BJP Telangana State President N. Ramchander Rao expressed strong confidence that the party will secure victory in the upcoming municipal elections across Hyderabad, Malkajgiri, and Cyberabad corporations. He asserted that BJP mayors will take charge in all three civic bodies. Speaking at the inauguration of a new BJP office in Vivekananda Colony under Kukatpally and Serilingampally constituencies, he criticized the Congress government and BRS MLAs for neglecting public issues and termed GHMC’s performance as a complete failure.
He further alleged that the city is facing severe water scarcity and that the government has failed to take preventive measures against urban flooding despite repeated warnings. Rao pointed out that even minor rains are causing waterlogging and traffic disruptions, questioning the accountability of the Congress government and GHMC. He also accused Congress and BRS of focusing on political alliances rather than city development, stating that citizens are now looking towards BJP for change in the upcoming elections.
