Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is on a two-day visit to Delhi, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday. The two leaders discussed various pending issues concerning the state. Matters that were discussed during the meeting of the Southern Zonal Council were also taken up during their interaction.
Chandrababu Naidu informed Amit Shah that the Godavari-Cauvery river linking project had been discussed at the Southern Zonal Council meeting. He urged the Union Home Minister to take the initiative to move the project forward. The Chief Minister also discussed other pending issues related to Andhra Pradesh with Amit Shah.
