

A shocking shooting incident in southern Turkey has left four people dead and eight others seriously injured. According to local media reports, a 17-year-old teenager entered a restaurant in the Tarsus district of Mersin city on Monday night and opened fire using a shotgun. After carrying out the attack, the suspect reportedly fled the scene, triggering panic in the area.
Police teams rushed to the location immediately after receiving information about the incident and shifted the injured victims to nearby hospitals. Authorities identified the deceased as the restaurant owner, staff members, a truck driver and a cattle herder. A criminal case has been registered, and special police teams are currently searching for the absconding suspect. The incident has created fear and tension across the region.
