

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu addressed the Credit Outreach Programme in Narasaraopet, where he, along with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, distributed ₹3,216 crore in loans to 1,03,246 beneficiaries under various Central Government schemes. He said the primary objective of welfare and development initiatives is to improve people's living standards. Chandrababu appreciated banks for reaching beneficiaries directly with loans, benefiting self help groups, farmers, MSMEs, entrepreneurs, women, and street vendors.
The Chief Minister highlighted the Centre's financial support for Amaravati, Polavaram, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, and Rayalaseema's horticulture development. He said loan restructuring had helped the state save ₹1,538 crore and praised women's self help groups for their outstanding savings and loan repayment record. Chandrababu reiterated the government's commitment to creating a "Healthy, Wealthy and Happy Society" in Andhra Pradesh by 2047 through initiatives such as One Family, One Entrepreneur.
