The TDP Politburo has decided to conduct Mahanadu 2026 with a “Stree Shakti” (Women Empowerment) theme and approved a total of 20 resolutions. A virtual Politburo meeting chaired by party chief and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was held on Thursday, with participation from party leaders including Nara Lokesh from the Chief Minister’s camp office.
During the nearly two-and-a-half-hour meeting, detailed discussions were held on the organization of Mahanadu, structure of resolutions, and key agenda points. Chandrababu directed leaders to highlight women empowerment initiatives and explain the party’s contributions since its inception. The Politburo decided to present 10 resolutions related to Andhra Pradesh, 4 from Telangana, 1 from Andaman, along with joint and key political resolutions.
The Chief Minister emphasized that Mahanadu should reflect the “Stree Shakti” theme through speeches and presentations. He also instructed that the event should be celebrated like a festival, with party flags hoisted at every house two days in advance. The Politburo also decided to highlight party ideology, NT Rama Rao’s principles, government welfare schemes, development activities, and investment progress.
Hybrid-mode Mahanadu will include presentations showcasing Telugu Desam Party’s history and ideology. Leaders also decided to expose alleged opposition activities and increase public awareness. The meeting concluded with a call to make every cadre—from top leadership to grassroots workers—an active participant in the grand event.
