Chandrababu Cracks Down on Punganur TDP Clash

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu has taken serious note of the clash that erupted during the opinion gathering process for the Punganur TDP incharge. He ordered the suspension of four party members and directed officials to take strict action against those involved in the violence.

Police have registered cases against 12 persons, including charges of attempt to murder and other relevant sections of law. Chandrababu strongly condemned the clash between two TDP factions and the reported attempt to attack media personnel. He warned that strict disciplinary action would be taken against anyone violating party rules, irrespective of their position, and instructed party leaders to ensure such incidents do not recur.
