Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials not to neglect public grievances and to ensure their timely resolution. During a review of various departments through the Real-Time Governance Society (RTGS) at the Secretariat in Amaravati, he assessed the delivery of government services at the field level. The Chief Minister said the existing Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) was helping address citizens’ concerns and called for further improvements in speed and efficiency. He instructed Chief Secretary Sai Prasad to organise a meeting with district collectors to strengthen the process.
Chandrababu Naidu also stressed accountability among officials and employees responsible for handling complaints received through nodal officers across all 175 Assembly constituencies. He said complaints must be followed up properly and resolved without unnecessary delays. The Chief Minister further expressed concern over alleged misinformation about various departments and the distortion of government orders, particularly an order issued by the Revenue Department. He instructed officials to respond promptly with accurate information and counter misleading claims effectively. Chief Secretary Sai Prasad and senior officials from various departments attended the review meeting.
