Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan to Launch Palle Panduga 3.0

The Andhra Pradesh government is set to launch ‘Palle Panduga 3.0’, a major rural development programme focused on improving infrastructure and basic amenities in villages. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan are scheduled to formally launch the programme on September 29 at Ramapuram village in Varikuntapadu mandal of the Udayagiri Assembly constituency in Nellore district. According to government figures provided for the programme, works worth Rs 11,085 crore are planned under Palle Panduga 3.0, covering rural roads, livestock shelters, horticulture, drainage systems, bus shelters and Gram Panchayat infrastructure.

The proposed works include around 6,000 km of cement-concrete roads, 9,500 km of BT roads, 22,000 mini Gokulams, horticulture development across 50,000 acres and 1,000 km of magic drains. The government has also highlighted works undertaken during the first two phases, including rural roads, livestock shelters, farm ponds and drainage infrastructure. Preparations for the September 29 launch at Ramapuram are currently being reviewed, with officials focusing on the venue, security, traffic, parking, drinking water and other arrangements.
