The recent Ebola scare in Bengaluru has come to an end after medical authorities confirmed that no positive case was detected in India. Health officials had earlier become alert after a 28-year-old woman who arrived from Uganda showed suspected symptoms linked to the deadly virus.
Blood samples sent to the National Institute of Virology (NIV) in Pune tested negative for Ebola, bringing major relief to both officials and the public. The Union Health Ministry also officially clarified that no Ebola cases have been reported anywhere in the country, easing fears among citizens.
