Centre Announces Three Months Ration Rice Distribution at Once

The Central Government has taken a decision to distribute three months' ration rice together due to the drought-like conditions emerging under the impact of El Niño. Beneficiaries will receive ration rice meant for August, September, and October in a single distribution cycle.

Following the Centre's instructions to the State Government, the Civil Supplies Department has started preparations for the distribution process. The supply of rice is expected to begin from August 1, providing relief to ration card holders amid concerns over weather conditions and agricultural challenges.
