Students and parents have strongly criticized the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) over the poor quality of scanned Class 12 answer sheet copies. Several students who downloaded their answer sheets from the official portal were shocked to find the copies unclear and difficult to read. They questioned how evaluators could properly assess the papers when the scanned versions themselves were barely visible. Many students stated that they could not even understand their own handwriting in the uploaded copies.
Students are also raising concerns about how they can apply for revaluation using such unclear answer sheets. Screenshots of the scanned copies are now going viral on social media platforms. Some parents and students are demanding 15 to 20 grace marks as compensation for the inconvenience caused. Meanwhile, students also complained about technical glitches on the CBSE website even after the application deadline for answer sheet requests was extended till May 23.
