

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results of the Class 10 second board examinations. From 2026 onwards, CBSE introduced the system of conducting two board examinations for Class 10 students. The first board exam was held from February 17 to March 11, while the second board exam was conducted from May 15 to 21. Out of 6,64,027 registered students, 6,63,777 appeared for the examination, including 5,13,955 students who took it to improve their marks.
Around 59.95% of students, numbering 3,08,095 candidates, achieved better scores compared to the main examination. In the compartment category, 1,49,822 students appeared, and 78,503 students successfully cleared the exam. Combining the results of both board examinations, CBSE recorded an overall Class 10 pass percentage of 96.78%.
