CBI Seeks Speedy Trial in Viveka Murder Case, Opposes Further Investigation

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has submitted a counter before the special court stating that no further investigation is necessary in the Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy murder case. According to the agency, a comprehensive investigation has already been completed, including an examination of the messages involving Kiran and Arjun Reddy and the recording of the opinion of a CFSL expert.

The CBI further argued that Sunitha's petition seeking additional investigation is not maintainable. It informed the court that repeated petitions filed in various courts are delaying the framing of charges and the overall trial. The agency requested the special court to ensure that the case proceedings are completed at the earliest.
