An Amazon Prime Air cargo plane crashed at Miami International Airport on Sunday after overrunning the runway while landing. The Boeing 767-300, operated by 21 Air as Flight 7598, had arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico. The aircraft struck several vehicles after leaving the runway and caught fire. At least five people were killed and five others were injured, with three of the injured reported to be in critical condition.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and more than 60 fire-rescue units responded to the accident. The pilot and co-pilot were among those rescued from the aircraft, while some people were also trapped in vehicles hit by the plane. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board have launched investigations into the cause of the accident.
