Car Overturns After Hitting Tractor on National Highway in Anakapalli

A serious road accident occurred on Tuesday morning on the National Highway at Nakkapalli in Anakapalli district. A car traveling from Rayagada to Draksharamam met with an accident after reaching Nakkapalli. According to preliminary information, the driver attempted to avoid a tractor on the highway, but the car collided with the vehicle from behind and overturned multiple times.

Five people, including car passengers Praveen, Raj Kumar, Padmavathi, a minor boy, and tractor driver Appalanaidu, sustained injuries in the mishap. Police personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the Nakkapalli Government Hospital for treatment. CCTV cameras installed near the accident site reportedly captured the entire incident, and police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances leading to the crash.
