Bus Collides with Tipper on Tirumala Ghat Road, Five Devotees Injured

A bus travelling from Tirupati to Tirumala collided with a tipper vehicle on the second ghat road near the Alipiri check post, causing injuries to five devotees. The accident occurred around three kilometres from the Alipiri inspection point after the speeding bus reportedly rammed into the tipper. Among the injured are two children and three adults.

Police and TTD vigilance staff immediately reached the spot and launched rescue operations. The injured devotees were shifted to Ashwini Hospital in Tirumala for treatment. Due to the collision, traffic movement on the second ghat road was disrupted for some time. Tirumala Traffic CI Hariprasad later confirmed that the traffic situation had been brought completely under control.
