Bunny Fans Launch a Major HPV Awareness Drive

The Allu Arjun Fans Association has launched a nationwide HPV awareness drive focused on women’s health and the prevention of cervical cancer and other HPV-related diseases. According to association representative Dharmendra, the campaign is being planned across eight major states, with more than 1,000 awareness programmes to be conducted in government and budget private schools. The initiative aims to educate adolescent students and local communities about HPV prevention and the importance of vaccination, screening and timely treatment. The association has also appealed for support from the media and the public to spread the message widely.

The campaign is being linked to the Central Government’s national HPV vaccination programme, under which free vaccination is being provided to eligible adolescent girls. According to the information shared by the association, the programme was officially launched on February 28, 2026, and provides a single dose of the Gardasil-4 vaccine through designated government health facilities, subject to parental or guardian consent. Eligible beneficiaries can reportedly register through the U-WIN platform or visit designated government health centres directly. The association has also released the event schedule for its awareness campaign, with the initiative drawing attention for using Allu Arjun’s fan network for a social cause.
