Bundles of Cash Found at Home.. Officials Left Shocked

A disproportionate assets case has been registered against Kumar, General Manager of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Red Hills Division. Anti Corruption Bureau officials launched simultaneous raids early Tuesday morning at eight locations, including Kumar’s residence in Mallapur, Hyderabad. The searches are being conducted under the supervision of ACB DSP Majeed Ali Khan, while inspections are also underway at the houses of Kumar’s relatives.

During the raids, officials reportedly seized a huge amount of cash, gold, and silver. According to sources, Rs.1 crore and 5 lakh in cash was recovered from Kumar’s residence. Counting machines are being used to calculate the bundles of currency notes found during the searches. Officials also recovered one kilogram of gold and one kilogram of silver. Investigators are examining the source of funds allegedly spent on Kumar’s daughter’s lavish wedding held last month.
