The BRS is preparing for a week-long statewide campaign against the Congress government, alleging that the Revanth Reddy government has failed to fulfil its promises during its first 1,000 days in office. The party has directed its leaders and cadres to conduct various forms of protests from September 1 to 7. On September 1, the BRS will unveil the protest logo at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, followed by a press conference. On September 2, protests will be held at constituency headquarters over the alleged failure to implement the six guarantees, while September 3 will focus on agriculture and irrigation issues through protests and farmers’ meetings.
On September 4, the party will organise cooking protests over issues including pensions, the promised ₹2,500 monthly assistance for women, Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak. Protests over the job calendar and unemployment will be held on September 5, followed by an auto rally in Siddipet on September 6. On September 7, BRS leaders and workers will participate in Prajavani programmes at district collectorates and submit petitions highlighting public grievances. The party leadership has asked leaders, elected representatives and workers at all levels to participate in large numbers and make the week-long campaign successful.
