BRS Releases Charge Sheet on Congress Failures

The BRS released a ‘charge sheet’ against the Congress government at Telangana Bhavan, marking the completion of the government’s 1,000 days in office. BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao and former minister and legislative party deputy leader Harish Rao participated in the programme. Harish Rao alleged that the Congress government had failed to implement the six guarantees and claimed that sectors including education, healthcare, power, agriculture, drinking water and law and order had weakened.

Harish Rao said Telangana had progressed under the leadership of K. Chandrashekar Rao and alleged that several systems had weakened after the Revanth Reddy government came to power. He also criticised the government over issues related to free power for farmers and facilities in government hospitals. He said the BRS would launch a seven-day protest programme to put pressure on the government over the implementation of the six guarantees and public issues, adding that the party would continue its fight on behalf of the people.
