The political atmosphere in Telangana is gradually intensifying as the BRS has begun preparing its strategy for the next Assembly elections. The party, led by former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and working president K. T. Rama Rao, is planning large scale public outreach programmes, including a bus yatra by KCR and a possible padayatra by KTR starting next year.
After losing power in the last Assembly elections, the BRS has focused on strengthening its organisational structure through membership drives, cadre training, and reorganisation of village-level committees. The party is also planning mass outreach campaigns highlighting alleged governance failures of the ruling Congress government, including unfulfilled election promises and administrative shortcomings.
The BRS leadership is also targeting farmers, students, unemployed youth, government employees, and workers across sectors to build wider support. The party plans to intensify public meetings, social media campaigns, and regional outreach programmes. Leaders believe that direct interaction with people through statewide yatras will help revive the party’s strength ahead of the upcoming elections.
