Global crude oil prices witnessed a sharp decline following former US President Donald Trump’s statement regarding the Iran conflict. Market sentiment improved after reports suggested that attacks on Iran had been halted, easing concerns over potential disruptions to global oil supplies.
As a result, Brent crude prices dropped by nearly 5 percent, reversing some of the recent gains driven by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Brent crude is currently trading at around $88 per barrel, bringing relief to global energy markets and oil-importing nations.
