Panic erupted at Pensacola Beach in Florida after two US Navy Blue Angels fighter jets conducted an extremely low-altitude flyby during the "Breakfast with the Blues" event on Wednesday morning. Videos circulating on social media show the supersonic aircraft passing just above the shoreline, with the powerful jet wash sending beach tents, umbrellas, chairs and other equipment flying through the air. The unexpected incident startled visitors gathered at the beach.
Following the viral footage, the US Navy ordered an official investigation into the incident. Authorities are examining whether the aircraft flew below approved safety limits and have launched a comprehensive review in coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Officials said the safety of both civilians and pilots remains their highest priority and assured that appropriate measures would be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.
