BJP’s Fight for Students - Ramchander Rao Begins Hunger Strike

Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao has begun a 48-hour hunger strike demanding the immediate release of ₹15,000 crore in pending fee reimbursement dues. The protest, titled ‘Fee Dues – BJP Fight’, began at the BJP state office in Hyderabad. The party alleged that the delay was severely affecting the future of nearly 40 lakh students across Telangana.

Despite being denied permission to hold the protest at Dharna Chowk, Ramchander Rao went ahead with the hunger strike at the party office. The BJP said students are facing difficulties in obtaining certificates and pursuing higher education and employment opportunities due to the pending dues. Students and party leaders extended their support to the protest, with the party vowing to continue the agitation until the issue is resolved.
