BJP Must Come to Power in Telangana - Kishan Reddy

Addressing a BJP meeting in Tandur, Union Minister and BJP leader G. Kishan Reddy called on party workers to strengthen the organisation and work with greater coordination. Referring to the appointment of Ramesh as Vikarabad district BJP president, he urged party members to support the new leadership. Recalling the party’s past performance in the region under leaders such as Tiger Narendra, Baddam Bal Reddy and Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, he expressed confidence that the BJP would win all three Assembly constituencies in the district in the next elections. He also recalled his association with the BJP since its early days and said the party has a strong political history in Tandur.

Kishan Reddy sharply criticised both the previous BRS government and the current Congress administration in Telangana. He alleged that the state had been pushed into heavy debt and accused the present government of corruption and commission-based dealings in areas such as real estate, contracts and construction. Defending the Narendra Modi government, he highlighted measures including action against terrorism, the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, free rice for poor families and subsidies for farmers. He urged people to give the BJP an opportunity to provide what he described as good governance and asked party workers to remain united and actively raise public issues across Telangana.
