BJP MP Tejasvi Surya’s Wife Faces Unpleasant Train Journey

Carnatic singer Sivasri Skandaprasad, wife of BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, has shared details of what she described as a traumatic train journey. She said she travelled for nearly five hours, with around 40 passengers in a 56-seat coach allegedly talking loudly and creating a disturbance for most of the journey. She said the situation caused her considerable mental distress.

Sivasri said she requested the ticket examiner for a seat in another coach, but no seats were available as the train was full, forcing her to remain in the same coach. She also alleged that some passengers made indirect comments about young women and that a group started playing UNO, adding to the disturbance. In a social media post, she said such experiences can cause additional mental stress for artists who prefer a peaceful environment while travelling.
